Melton Hotel Auburn - Sydney

Staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the little treats and color pencils they provided for my daughter. The room was clean but had a major issue with noise from the air conditioner, made it hard to relax. Another inconvenience was the lack of channels on the TV, disappointing. The shared facilities were mostly okay, but the restrooms were not exactly close to our room. The freezing cold days were manageable as heating was provided, but I did have to deal with second-hand smoke from the restroom in front of my room. Despite these issues, the heating and cleanliness were notable positives. Pricing was also very reasonable for the stay, which I appreciated.

The stay here was GOOD for the price. I booked modern twin room here with Shared Bathroom, the heater running and TV. Location: the hotel was near Olympic Park, and public transport.

The location seemed comfortable specially on Vivid events in Sydney. Everyone who worked there was very amiable and respectful. Economy king room was a decent size and the food was delightful...

the staff were incredibly friendly and offered great service, making me feel welcome right from check-in. the bar area was nice to hang out in, and the option for room service at regular pub prices was a lovely touch. Plus, it was conveniently located near shops and a short walk to some great fast food spots, which was perfect, especially during events like Vivid in Sydney.

There are a couple of things that could use some improvement. the bathrooms definitely need a more thorough clean, as there were signs of neglect.

Nice hotel with Wi-Fi, free parking, and a cozy bar area. Staff showed kindness to my old parents during our first stay, which I cherished. A quick tip, try their room service for great value. I'll be back for a city break!

The location was perfect for our needs, providing convenient access to Accor Stadium. The staff were genuinely lovely and were really good too assist us. I appreciated the complimentary parking, handy for our family trip. We enjoyed the food, really nice in quality.
